To Clean Your Kitchen Sink
It is always important to keep your living space sparkling, not only for appearance's sake, but for health reasons as well. If you were to leave your toilet grimy for a month, various molds and bacteria would then start to grow and cause a lot of problems. This is all the more for sinks since this is the area where you wash your dishes, glasses, and eating utensils. Germs can easily be transferred from there to your plates and mugs, after all. To prevent from contracting any illnesses, you should make it a habit to clean it regularly, and here are the steps in how to do so effectively:
- Empty the basin and remove everything from behind it including the soap containers.
- Start with the accessories such as the drainer, which actually accumulates a lot of dust along various grooves.
- Give the bottles for the soap a quick scrub as they can become covered with scum and suds that are quite unsightly.
- Wet the entire sink and use a scrub brush along with a few drops of dish-washing liquid to get rid of all the food particles that may have attached to the fixture.
- Utilise a product approved for your type of basin. Check labels on the agents to make sure. Scour the entire bowl including the back section and the faucet. Make sure to thoroughly rinse away traces of the cleaner after.
Once you are done with the instructions stated above, all that is left to do is to dry the area with a towel and return the drainer and bottles to their designated locations. After which, you can then sit back and admire your sparkling sink.
